The pearl absorbs heat from the oven walls and transfers it more evenly through the herb load — reducing hot and cold spots that cause uneven extraction. The practical effect is more consistent vapor quality from the first draw to the last, particularly in the lower Smart Paths.

How do I use the IQ2 Pearl?

Drop the pearl into the IQ2 oven before loading herb. It sits at the base and acts as a heat sink and distributor. Load herb on top and session normally. Clean it with ISO periodically — residue accumulates on the pearl's surface over time just like the oven walls.

Is the IQ2 Pearl compatible with the IQC or IQ3?
