Essential: what wears out and needs replacing
EQ Quartz Crucible — $24
The quartz crucible is the heart of the EQ system and its primary consumable. Even with consistent ISO cleaning, quartz crucibles develop micro-residue accumulation over hundreds of sessions that affects flavor transparency. Having a spare on hand means you can rotate crucibles — one in use, one soaking — and never compromise a session waiting for a clean one to dry.
At $24, it’s the lowest-cost component in the EQ system and the one most likely to need replacement over the life of the device. Buy at least one spare.
EQ Heater / Atomizer — $49
The heater is not a routine consumable in the way the crucible is — it’s engineered for durability across extended use. But it is replaceable, and if you’re maintaining the EQ long-term, having a spare means any heater issue is a five-minute swap rather than a device-out-of-service situation.
Worth it for heavy users or long-term ownership. Optional for new users — buy it when you need it.
Upgrade: improves the existing experience
EQ Zirconia Crucible — $34.99
An alternative to the standard quartz crucible made from advanced zirconia ceramic, selected for exceptional heat retention and structural strength under repeated high-temperature cycles. Users who run high-temperature production sessions may prefer zirconia’s heat retention. Users prioritizing absolute flavor transparency will stay with quartz.
EQ Jacuzzi Bubbler — $120
If you have the Skyrise Edition (30ml bubbler, silicone accessories), the Jacuzzi Bubbler upgrade brings you to the flagship water filtration spec: 60ml borosilicate glass, glass-on-glass connection. If you already have the Jacuzzi Collection, this is a spare — having a second bubbler means cleaning one while the other is in use.
EQ Carb Cap Injectors — $35
Upgrade for Skyrise users moving from silicone to zirconia for airpath purity, or as a replacement for worn carb caps. The carb cap creates the low-pressure environment the quartz crucible needs for efficient vaporization at lower temperatures.
Session tools: genuine convenience
DaVinci Hot Knife — $40
An electric dab tool that heats to temperature in 3 seconds and drops concentrate into the crucible cleanly, preserving terpenes through temperature-regulated contact. Standard dab tools cause concentrate to stick and smear — product waste and potential crucible contamination. DaVinci rates it at approximately 50 sessions per charge.
